Famous Broken Bats

OK. The movie got me thinking about broken bats. Don't ask why. As I was thinking, I began to recall a few broken bats of notoriety. So...

Who can name all of these famous broken bats? [ed note: ok, one of them was more illegal than broken...]

First picture: Tommy Lasorda was stuck by the barrel of Vladimir Guerrero's broken bat during the 2001 All-Star Game. Lasorda was unhurt.

Second picture: The bat wasn't broken, but it was covered in gunk -- pine tar to be exact. When Yankees manager Billy Martin had the umps check it after a George Brett homer, George went ballistic.

Third picture: A close-up of Sammy Sosa breaking a corked bat during a game. He said it was a batting practice bat he had accidentally used during the game.

Fourth picture: Roger Clemens holds (briefly) the barrel of Mike Piazza's broken bat during the 2000 Subway Series. Roger will take some heat for throwing the shard at Piazza.

Fifth picture: Paul Sorrento, and this one is complicated. Albert Belle's bat was confiscated by league officials during a White Sox - Indians game on the suspicion it was corked. A teammate of Belle's, Jason Grimsley went through the ceiling into the umpire's locker room and exchange Belle's bat for one of Paul Sorrento's. It might have worked, had Paul Sorrento's name not been clearly marked on the bat.
